At ABBY& FINN we are parents. We knew there was a better way to have what we need to care for our children. So as parents, we set out to make the best products for parents and their children.

We recently launched our new wipes. An even better way to wipe away the mess. Our ingredients changed and we added a new flip top. This is a change we are so proud of and know you’ll absolutely love!

There is a lot of talk about “clean” wipes. The “fewer ingredients, the better.” Here’s the thing though, if we just used water, as some encourage, it wouldn’t be the safest option for your children. If a product contains water, preservatives are necessary to eliminate the breeding of mold and bacteria.

We needed to create a clean wipe that was instead focused on as few ingredients as necessary to make a safe and useful product. We opted to not use just water.

What is in our wipes?

Let’s dive into our wipes and why we included what we did.

Water

Since our anti-bacterial agent is all natural & plant based, they are quite mild compared to the normal chemical based anti-bacterial agents. They require perfect water conditions to make them work. Because of this, we purify the water so many times to filter out as many bacterial, organics and colloid as possible. We also filter out as many heavy metals and associated minerals to prevent the conditions for bacteria to grow in. We use a a 0.0001mm filtration system… now, that is what you call pure.

Soybean Amino Acids

We use soybean amino acids as our antibacterial agent. We went this route because it is the only natural, organic antibacterial agent to meet the antibacterial strength and safety standards of the Society of Industrial Antimicrobial Articles and acquire certification with the SIAA mark.

Aloe Vera

This calming gel contains two hormones: Auxin and Gibberellins. These two hormones provide wound healing and anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation. Additionally, in Ayurvedic medicine, Aloe is used to effectively heal chronic skin problems, such as psoriasis, acne, and eczema. This makes aloe vera a perfect choice for babies with a rash and those without.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble, essential nutrient with anti-inflammatory properties. Vitamin E helps support the immune system, cell function, and skin health. It’s an antioxidant, making it effective at combating the effects of free radicals produced by the metabolism of food and toxins in the environment. Ok, in laymen’s terms… vitamin E is good for your babies skin and a must for our wipes.

With an intentional list of ingredients like this, we know our wipes will be a big hit for you and your baby. But we went one step further. With water-based products, it’s important to keep the environment sterile. By adding our flip tops, you can easily pull one wipe at a time and then close the package to keep germs out.

We are proud to use only as few ingredients as needed to protect your hands, our babies skin and a whole lot of wasted wipes.
